This is the LAW: 33 inch tires and a lift to fit them, unlocked is ok. It can be done on 31 (some kind of mud terrains) and locked front and rear. Bald A/T's dont cut it, nor does any other worn out tire. no trailers, please.

I will be the one to tell you . . . if you are not set up accordingly, we dont want you there. Sorry!

Rocker guards are a MUST, Diff guards WILL be used, as well as gas tank skids. Its not a dirt road. Think of the most difficult trail you've ever run(Hammers excluded ), now drive the hardest part of that trail non stop for 3 days.

We want to have fun. What we dont want is a bunch of people getting in over their heads. We would hate for anyone to be that one person that inisists on going, and later trashes their junk and hold the group up.

        Build accordingly.
        So,
Im assuming that you would tell us if you dont want us there before the 15th rolls around then?
        Thanks

I don't believe his post was aimed at anyone in general, but mainly to point out that this is a very serious trail. It's easy to get in over your head. Some of you we haven't wheeled with before soo I guess Chris was just re-stating the obvious. We also want to avoid the carnage from last year, not only for ourselves, but for the driver too.

              • Oh i know,
I wasnt trying to sound like i was taking offense to what he was saying.
                I was just making sure.
I feel my rig will be capable for the run and i think i will be as well.
So i have spare parts and am not afraid of some trail damage so i'm pumped to go and have a good with all of you.

                • It's better to be up front than suffer the consequences.

As much as we would love to go (assuming our rigs pass inspection ), we will be busy at work. We'll be thinking of y'all and praying for your safe return!

                        Have a great time!

The Missus and I are busy scheming our next extended Jeep trip probably in late September (?Moab), but we'll discuss it when you get back!
