dammit! I so wanna go on this trip.....but as the schedule works out, I can't. If it was the weekend before, or weekend after, I could. But that weekend just doesn't work.

I am so tempted to go. I have the 15th, 16th, and 17th off. If I do go I may have to come solo cause the girlfriend would be working, and I would have to finish the trail on the 17th so I could be to work on sunday.

It's entirely possible to do the trail in 2 days, but it would be a pretty long 2 days


... and don't forget the 10-ish hour drive!

Oh and that last part after Cadilac Hill just seems to drag on and on and on and on ... I'd hate to be doing that part after a long day. Oh and you gotta account for the potential breakage time ... at least the bound to happen flat tire or two with a group.

Yeah I could handle the long days on the trail, it's that going down the freeway that I hate. I will have to check my map program when I get off work to calculate my distance and I think that will be my deciding factor.
