Nah, I think my 2a was a bitch too. Not a right angle anywhere on that jeep :geek:
Unless you were there too... :homer:
I was there for a couple of the days. The software solution may prove to be a great big help in the future. I tend to overthink things sometimes.

Been a while since I updated here. Been working on the CJ after work everyday for a couple of weeks. Mostly sheet metal work and little things like rebuilding York compressor. The York threw a rod and destroyed the crankshaft so time to find another one.
The cage is coming along at the speed of snail but it's starting to look like we designed it. Should be mostly finished today.
I was worried about head room, as I'm trying to get away from that standard CJ cage look. But even with the front A pillar at windshield height and only 3" of rise to the B pillar there is plenty of head room. 20140920_184556 by MJR RAT, on Flickr
Great work. Your tunnel looks like a SpyderTrax center section. Thats a compliment. When I was checking headroom, when I did my seats. I was worried I'd be too close. When your sitting in the jeep in the garage, your sitting up straight, and tall. Once I got on the trail, I noticed, I don't sit up that tall. My headroom went from, Worried I'd hit my head all the time. Too, tons of headroom. What was I worried about.
Lets see more of the back of the cage. Looks great
Some more pics of the rear section. Still have some cross members to make and install, and some finishing touches will be done when it is installed for the final time.
Thanks Rich. Trying to be unconventional, at least as far as the CJ body form and the owner will let me be. It will look pretty cool when it's done, and will have enough triangulation to be rock solid if it rolls.
