Kurt the roll cage came out pretty damn sweet. As for the straight pieces that need to go in still & frame tie-ins, I think we'll be able get this finished up quick & move onto the next part. I think I actually like it not dipping down right after the b+ pillar...or c-pillar...or whatever we are calling the cargo area part.

If anyone else want's one like this...it will only cost ya a billion dollars. Not a lot of material...but IT WAS A P.I.T.A. ON A BIBLICAL SCALE. I think it was totally worth it though. I didn't want the typical roll cage you see rolling around on CJ5's. Seeing it on the Jeep is very satisfying and seeing other's liking it tells me it's not too far on the crazy side. We'll get the Hello Kitty stickers on it later.[/COLOR]

So, After reading the Bible for any biblical references to difficult roll cage builds (none found) I did some more tinkering on the Junk... er Jeep today. Two straight pieces triangulate the top of the cage and will tie into the C pillar, then to the B pillar with short connector tubes. Also did some more sheet metal work tonight, but no pics. Maybe tomorrow.

Yes, it looks like the point in the middle where the tubes meet is way off center. It's the camera angle.
