  • Nick's CJ build part 1

    Nick has started his CJ build here in my garage. No telling what the time line is gonna be but I hope we get it in rolling condition sometime this year

    We are starting with another tub to replace the broken tub on his existing frame. I will build a complete new frame for it since the old CJ frames are noted for the ability to crack at any time. I have a preliminary design done to get us started but the revisions will come fast and furious I'm sure.

    Hers the new frame in it's raw state:

    I'm pushing for a 400 HP Hemi but Nick wants to be more conservative

          can't wait to see progress

          Mind if I ask why the rear of the cage is designed like that? Does the spare tire mount on that rear hoop?

              This is the first version. It will go through many changes along the way. No plans for attaching spare tire to roll cage.
