Did some more on the xmember tonight. Definitely not enough holes...
This should be done tomorrow after work and ready to install Friday. All 1/4" plate and DOM.

Sunday is CJ Day! Got some more done on the CJ and hit the first snag in the build. Long story short, we need more up travel to keep from lifting the body so high Nick needs a ladder to get in... Working on it now... The rear four link is about complete, but need some more material to complete it. Going to the mstal store tomorrow.
Four link xmember fit up

Completing the gussets and upper link brackets

Upper link bracket will have gussets on both sides, enclosed in the front. Lower bracket mount plate is also anti- rotation support for xmember.

Need to make the rear upper brackets and a truss for the rear and the four link is done.

When that is done I get to figure out how to get that ride height issue resolved. Have some ideas that need explored.
More to come...Resistance Off Road

No sir mine is sitting on the lift. I got sick of messing with it for a while. I just need drive lines and drill out the pitman arm and it would be ready for a shakedown."You cant fit 2 fingers in my tailpipe"

For the record, Scott does not wheel his Jeep. He only modifies it!

Nick says he's gonna bead blast everything prior to paint. I can't wait to see it all bare shiny metal ready for paint. I suggest a monochrome paint scheme. Frame, sheet metal and cage all the same color. But I think he wants OD green or something similar so the frame may look better painted black. But look at Daniel Bucks CJ. He did OD Green sheet metal and cage and it looks tough.Resistance Off Road
