The buying never ends Skeeter. Talk to Blaine see if he can built you something a whole lot better than the stuff that resides under there now. Spend the money and get it done right this time. Do insist on 14 " coilovers all around and see if he can get you 5-6" uptravel front and rear. I wouldn't have Brothers do it, they are a good install shop, fab shop and custom suspension work, not so good. That or talk to Josh at Lead foot offroad. If you go there have him show you the 4 link calculator numbers before he builts anything.

Brett I have 6.25 of uptravel in the back. If I worked on the bump stops I might get another .50". The front has 4.50" of uptravel. So you can get the uptravel in the rear with coils.IN A LAND OF FREEDOM WE ARE HELD HOSTAGE BY THE TYRANNY OF POLITICAL CORRECTNESS!!

Who is "They make a kit" for it? One of the issues i will/would face is that I am running mostly stock width axles. Not as much room as full width axles. I want to keep the gas tank where it is. Jonah and I stared at it for a while yesterday... was quite fun.. we also spent 5 hours doing a 15 minute install of the new OR FAB windsheild xmember. We (I turned some wrenches and Jonah did the wiring) rewired some of my lights to make the look cleaner. We realized on of my lil Pod lights was wired to the carpet lol. We also ripped out the wire going to my LED interior lights when we dropped the windshield so we had the pleasure of redoing some of those wires again. Fun day and now I can wheel with my windshield down and not worry about ripping out any wiring each time I do it
I love Amazon.com. Ordered 2 cases of 15w 40 Rotella oil, 3 Royal Purple filters (for the new engine), all new cb antenna mounts, new antenna, JB Weld (after watching Fredilicious fix his compressor in Parker) and some Locktite
serious foam packing from OR Fab.
All in all a great day. Now I have a place to mount the CRAWL CAM system I started putting together a few years ago... Will be fun!

I just did a little PM..that was the acronym for Preventative Maintenance in the Marines. Now that I think about it.. what i did really wasn't PM. It was PPM... or Post Parker Maintenance
After watching Serigo doing backflips I knew I had to get more serious about my tie down points. I went to the local Ace Hardware today and purchased a bunch of stainless steel eye bolts ($5-7) a piece, and stainless nuts (47 cents each) and stainless washers (37 cents each). Needless to say that my idea cost me $100 in parts. The owner of the Ace felt bad and gave me a 10% discount. I still feel bad and should have gone to Home Depot!
I charged up my cordless drill for a few hours and hoped that would be enough to finish the job... not quite... but I did manage to get two of the eye bolts solidly mounted. I bought a tap and threaded the hole so the eye bolt literally screwed into the body
came out simple and clean.
Once my drill is charged I will finish the back two holes (mounting into the rear corner of the tub) and the cage behind the seats:
Then I sanded and taped up the rock slider and applied my first coat of Hammer Finish Black Rustloleum since the new paint job.... It came out great and you can't even tell there was ever a scratch!
I can hear the soft top windshield rail getting a little loose and floppy when driving at highway speeds. A few 47 cent stainless steel hex head self tapping screws should fix that problem:
Tomorrow is finishing up the eye bolts and replacing the antenna mount that I broke in Parker...

wow, you are really knocking some stuff out! That hammer finish paint is looking awesome!
I was really tempted to pull the cover on that transfer case when it was here. We did a little test an left the hubs unlocked, put it in front wheel drive hi and it would spin no problem. front wheel drive low, let the clutch out real slow and serious clunking. Seems like one clunk per revolution, seemed very consistent but we only let it go a couple of clunks. Curious to look in there and see what busted.
