Sorry, back to our regularly scheduled program.
I was too cheap to buy new ones, so i was really careful cutting the perches off and was able to reuse them.
the cable lock idea for the parking brake I stole from this guy...

I just cut off the perches on the 8.8 and used the kit from M.O.R.E. I just wondered as I have always disliked the squatting look my Jeep as had since I put in the 8.8. I had wondered if I used the wrong perches. Spoke to M.O.R.E. and nope. I used the correct ones.

You guys bring up a good point. When you go with an aftermarket perch (due to the necessary clearance needed when bending the steel) they often end up being pretty tall, and when used in a Spring Under setup, it can take away lift. One thing you can do is grind down the area that mounts to the axle...kinda like this...

Found these at summit for the SUA guys. These are 4 5/16" length. I called Moroso and verified. Local shop has them instock. Going to get them!
