If you want to take them off you have to pull the axle. Just bend them back into shape. They don't have to be pretty. You will never see them on the Jeep. Those left standing

Ok. Took the disc brakes to Napa. Guy there said my disc was good. It could be turned maybe once more. Little confused on the part if it had 3,000 left or 1,000 left. Anyways, I passed on turning them as they had been done before, and the disc felt smooth. Pads had 30-40% left. So, no metal on metal. Instead, he gave me some wet sand paper said hit it to remove any rust and he would just call it. I did although, buy the pads. Napa pads "true stop" ($25). Not their best, but, Napa usually makes good stuff. I will install tomorrow.
Questions?
1. Can I remove the axle without opening the diff cover to remove than dust plate and try to fix it or delete it?
2. I haven't put the CV drive shaft on nor ordered it. So, if and when I order it, can I just request he put 1330 u joints on the axle side? Then I will just go back to the junk yard and get that adapter I should have got when I pulled the axle?
Thanks!
