I remember the last time, I just think it's better that I forget, at least under oath.

Ok, we're camping Sat night? Anyone wanna give me directions?
Will those leased Jeeps be needing new wheels and tires after we get through?

          Weather for Warner Springs

Looks like it will be nice-ish Probably a little on the cold side, but thats why we have heaters, right?

unless you dont have any doors, then the heater doesn't do a damn bit of difference.

I'll probably camp, too. I do not know if they changed their prices or not, but the last time I was there it was:

                      4WD Camping
                      $20 per night
                      $25 with tow

w/ a group discount of $5 per vehicle (6 or more)

                      2WD Camping
                      $12 per night

                      Day use:
                      $15 4wd
                      $20 w/ tow 4wd
                      $10 2wd

                      Gate open from 8-10pm

                      Call 760-782-0711 for more info!

I don't know about you guys, but with Christmas around the corner, camping there would be a bit expensive for me.

                          Hi Everyone!

Just found this place today, and about laughed when i saw this thread.

I will be up there with 5-6 of my Jeeping buddies that Saturday we've had the trip planned for a few weeks now.

Hope to see/meet you guys there.

We are bringing a GPS and re-mapping LCIR the map they give you at the gate is horrid to say the least and alot of the trails have changed/expanded since it was made. We plan on making a new map once we are done. I think we are even going to bring some stakes and boards and label the trails.

                          We plan on hitting:

                          El Hill
                          Ladybug Lane
                          Helicopter Pad
                          Jeep Squeeze
                          Bronco Hill
                          Left Turn Hill
                          Rock Garden
                          etc....

We will have at least 3 vehicles equiped with winches, an OBA, a welder....etc. We will also have about 2 or 3 stock Jeeps with us that are 1st timers. We are usually on channel 16 a few guys run motorola's as well usually channel 4(sub 4).

For those that haven't been there before everything mentioned in this thread is correct. I use to run LCIR in my Jeep when it was 100% stock and i had no problems at all. Sure there are areas where you need lockers, or need decent clearance, but there are bypass's for all those areas as well.

EDIT: Some LCIR pics to view here too. One of the guys i wheel with has a 66 bronco and his club was up there a few weeks ago and we met up with them and showed them how it's done in Jeeps!
