I am so happy!!! My mom is going to watch the baby that weekend so I can go four wheeling!! I will be there with Megan and Sean and maybe Megan's friend Chantall. Tom has to work that weekend. Now I just have to make my reservation for the Ghost Walk.

The wife and I will be there. We have a little bit of a drive from Lemoore.
It is close to a 6 hour drive for us. Done it enough this year all ready.
We where above Barstow in Jan to do some gold mining with my parents.

Is the spot where everyone is going to camp, hard to find. We will be towing over a coleman tent trailer. Hope that there is enough level ground to set this thing up.

Looking forward to a fun weekend.

          Awesome...Glad you can make it.

Theres plenty places to put the Tent Trailer. Are you coming out Friday night or saturday morning?

Dont forget to make reservations for the Ghost Walk if you want to go on it with us

It should only take you about 3 1/2 hours to Calico. That is all it takes me towing my Jeep.

Wasn't there a mention of a potluck?? What is everyone bringing? Tom is willing to pre make something since he can't come.

Also, where is the camping again? I'm leaving Friday afternoon.

                Sandra...

We arent 100% positive that were going to be camping Friday night. If I were you, youre relatively close...Id plan on meeting up with everyone Saturday morning. I wouldnt suggest you camping alone out there with your kids.

We will leave here on Friday afternoon. I will leave work early so we can beat the traffic at the four corners.

I have not meet Al-Igofshn. He has PM'ed me about offering to help build my jeep if I need any help.
I hope to have our new lift installed by then.

Also, does anyone have the gps coordinates to the camp site?

I have a good idea where Calico is though.

Camping is always done just before the trail head. You turn left at the road just past the ghost town.

I'm not going to make this run. I'm going to SD to visit my youngest and hit a Padre game. My next outing will probably be HDR. That is if gas prices don't kill me.

Is there going to be a potluck dinner?

If so, we will bring something.
I may need to bring some baked beans so I can put some methane in the jeep. Gas prices are going to kill me.

                            approximate gps location:

                            N 34.945233 W 116.85662

we should be within sight from there...we usually camp just beyond the caves,as theres too much traffic in between them. anywhere in there is fine though.

I think with some careful spotting you could get through without a scratch. I think. :yay:
