  • Trail Run Basic Requirements

    Sounds great, Chris!

Since we've gotten such an overwhelming response for this trail run, we'd like to remind everyone of the common and safe guidelines we follow on our runs together.

    Please be sure you have:
    • a CB
    • tire pressure gauge
    • skid plates/body armor/rockers
    • tow strap, tow hooks
    • first aid kit
    • fire extinguisher
    • spare tire or safety seal kit
    • firewood and plenty of water
    • portable toilet (no pooping in the rocks )
    • trash bags

MJR and its affiliates are not responsible for any damage or injury on ANY run posted on the site.

    • Chris and I are leaving Friday after work, we are hoping around 3:00pm. We will be towing the YJ with his ZJ. Expecting to be in late that night. We are going to camp where everyone else is camping.

Looking forward to meeting all of you, and seeing some ghosts!!!!

BTW, Is there still a potluck going on?

Sarah, Can you please bring me one small sticker and one small girls T-Shirt?

      Question:
I am locked, but the ZJ is open, open. Do you think that this will be a problem on the trails. In MOAB the ZJ did Poison Spider and had no issues.

He should have no problems, as long as hes lifted with rocker protection. Im unlocked as well.

        • Yeah, he's lifted and has rocker protection. But I do not have rockers. One thing on my big list of mods that I need. I am not worried about any damage on the YJ. It needs some character.

              • Is there someplace close to dump a porta-potti if it gets full?

I have one in my tent trailer. But it gets full quickly.

                Looking forward to some fun.

                • I don't think the kids and I will do the ghost walk tour. One thing, I have no money until Friday. By then I think it would be too late to get in on it anyways. Plus, they said kids that are younger than 8 aren't recommended, but we know our kids. I don't think Sean would like that to well. However, I would love it!!! Next time for that.

But I'm still coming for the wheeling!!

                      • By hook or by crook, I WILL have my jeep back together by Friday!!!! :shout: :shout: :shout:

Only have to fab the spring mounts and shackle mounts, weld them to the frame, fab the shackles, cut off the old spring perches and weld on the new, get new U-Bolts, bolt the axle on, install driveshaft and brake lines and test.

                        Simple :gun:

See you all at Peggy Sues on Saturday Morning!!

                              • My arrival date and time are predicated on the accomplishment rate for the jeep. The sooner it is done, the sooner I arrive.
