small update, things are moving slow, i keep changing my mind.. i did get the lomax 4to1 gears and shifters in the dana 300 and flipped it, just need to vent the new top, im gonna put the 300 behind a box4rocks doulbler, that kit is ordered just need a 231, which i think ive found on here.....their gonna give me these ratio's 1:1
                  2.72:1
                  4:1 &
                  10.88:1
                  with these options, Front Low
                  Rear only Low
                  4wd Low
                  4wd high
                  Rear only High
front only high- had to mod for this one.

                      Kevin,

is this trail only or will you drive it on the street??? have you considered PROPANE instead of gas??? My Samurai is propane. the best mod I have ever done to any vehicle.

it will be registered, and insured still, so i might drive it a little on the street but not much, i may look into the propane thing after i get it rolling,
