I use 2 methods in my jeeps.
In the CJ, I have a negative disconnect that uses a key, you can get one from many places, you tie your ground cable to it and run another cable from the other end to where your ground was connected. Nothing, and I mean nothing happens till you insert the key.
On the TJ, when I am somewhere I need to make sure it stays put, I pull the fuel injection relay and carry it with me.
Alarms are so easily over ridden these days and no one pays attention.

thanks, I dont think I would ever buy an alarm. I will be installing two switches to off fuel pump and starter

Well unfortunately I was able to get a "real-life" test on my kill switches. Some douche-bag attempted to steal my Jeep again this past friday night. Luckily for me nothing was taken, just ignition key lock was destroyed. Lucky for the guy I did not catch him. Hopefully they don't come back for a third time. I cant believe this, I am beginning to become extremely paranoid

im going to have to respectfully disagree with you roger. She isnt much but shes all i have, so im defending her like she were a family member. I dont know what i would do without my jeep.

                    this really sucks.
i can't even drive my jeep any more i'm so scared someone will swipe it. For years it looked terrible and i didn't worry about it, but now I have a new body and paint.. it looks great and it freaks me out. now it only leaves the locked garage when it doesn't leave my sight. I'm glad you still have yours, I know a few who don't.
It's not what you have. it's what you do with what you have.

That is awful. I can’t believe they came back. Makes me think, I don’t even have a kill switch. When I am somewhere I am not comfortable leaving my Jeep I pull the coil wire and carry it with me. I need a kill switch in my tuffy glove box maybe.
