  • Great pics Randy!

Going back through my photos, I found several themes. I doubt that I will post all of them, but I really like this one:

I have finally stopped drinking for good.
Now I drink for evil.....

    • Really enjoying the photos and stories in this thread. Glad you guys got to meet my buddy Chris Coyle. I've had the privilege of traveling a lot of those trails back in my Land Rover days. Such beautiful county, with such interesting history.

Poughkeepsie is certainly interesting, but Land Rovers, or at least Modern ones with current generation Traction Control seem to do okay on the Wall:

I love the Aspens, so beautiful. I was fortunate to be there on a sunny day once:

        • Some awesome shots here, it’s definitely hard to post something different. What an incredible group of people to travel with, and some of the most amazing scenery I’ve ever seen – anywhere!

I took a lot of pictures, links are at the end of each day. - Linda

          Waterfall

          Silverton invasion for dinner

          And a show

Hilarious watching the guys start a fire

          • DAY 3
Heading onto the famous switchbacks of Black Bear Pass

            Crazy kids swinging on cables

Bridal Veil Falls and Smuggler-Union Hydroelectric power plant from above, the second-oldest operating AC power generation facility in the US. The oldest is nearby in Ophir.

Passing through Telluride to Imogene Pass trail, we see the switchbacks we just came down

            Heading up to Imogene

We find another 360 degree view peak, these might have been my favorite views the whole trip. <maybe>

            Hmm, no thanks

            Down we go

            to Hidden Treasure Mine

            Paparazzi trail across Imogene Creek

            Fording puddles

And up again past Revenue Mine to Yankee Boy Basin, and another lake.

            Anything for the pic …

Heading back into Ouray for dinner

              Stony Pass group shot

              Buffalo Boy mine

              Our ride for the afternoon:

A memorable couple we met on the train, getting off halfway to climb a 14,000+ ft peak. He never climbed a mountain until he was 60, now they’ve got over 400 under their belts.

Amber is so upset we have to stop

              Alycia looks pretty upset too.

              The gorge, gorgeous!
