I will use Monument Pk repeater on the way in Thurs AM and also try MJR 1 when I'm close. We'll be coming into the area from Anza.....

Mat, sorry we'll miss you. Maybe you can give us a shout on the ham radio as you blow past enroute to AZ. BTW, the Monument Peak repeater is part of the Calzona Link, so you can talk to us (and others) all the way into the Phoenix area.

I will be out early Thursday, I'm thinking I will be arriving around 11a as well. I don't have my HAM anymore so I'll be monitoring CB4 and somewhere within a few hundred feet of the campsite (GPS error margin). Looking forward to this weekend and I just got a couple 130watt KC's mounted up for a night run.

Also, is anyone else planning to bring out your now old Christmas tree to burn? I'd thought of bringing mine out.

Dirtman - I'm bringing regular wood, but curious...no pallets because of nails or in case they're chemically pre-treated? Or, just a pain and pallets always lead to some jackwagon throwin the whole thing on the fire?
