            NEW??
I'm pretty sure that it has been there for several million years.

It was a fun day... even if it was extremely long. Thanks again Chuck for the welder (twice)!
Here are some of my pics:

            I love THIS logo:

It was a great day on the trail!:

It really was a great day in the desert. Hopefully next time I will check Mr. Green for broken stuff BEFORE I leave home. A Big Thanks to FreewayDan for inviting us on this exploration trip!

My rear upper control arm mount ripped off the frame. From the look of it, it had been slowly tearing away for some time but I hadn't noticed it. The last time that I checked those mounts has been a while.

It seems that the stock mounts just can't hold up the the strain of the rear 4-link. I will try fabbing some out of thicker plate.

I wonder which mount is next to rip? This makes four different ones so far. Six, if you count the two bolt holes that I have reinforced.

Ha! Oh yeah. That makes three U-joint caps that I have popped out! Heck, that's starting to get routine. Poor Mr. Green. The ironic part is that none of the problems happened on the tough part of the trail! The Jeep wheeled like a champ on the rough stuff.

Mike, Sounds like maybe your front axle yokes are stretched.

yup Mikey time to weld some washers over those yoke ends or buy some axle shafts these are done.
The wash is the bomb though, love all the pics you guys took. The fellow with the Toyota was pretty brave

The Toyota is in my shop at the moment. But for the most part it did just fine.NOT RECOMMENDED to bring long wheel base on that trail! Expect body damage. But he drove the crap out of it that day. Its on 33's open in the front, locked with a Detroit in the rear.

How did it do? Rock rails enough to protect from body damage?

His setup sounds similar to my grocery getter.
