  • CA: Last Chance 2/22

Last Chance on sunday 2/22/04.Last Chance is near Jawbone.

Most stock 4wd jeeps should be fine, just so long as you stick to the bypasses on some of the tougher obsticles. You need hooks just in case you need a pull. I am intersted in attending this run, just need to check and see what we are doing for that weekend.

well, we could meet at Primo Burger in mojave or at the Jawbone ranger station closer to the trail. I vote for 10am since some will be coming from quite a distance.

Maybe meet at Primo's at 9am for those who don't know where Jawbone Canyon is. Primo's is easier to explain and map (see above link), and is harder to miss (not to mention food and coffee).

Maybe meet at Jawbone for airdown and disconnect at 10am for those who know where Jawbone is.

Personally, I really don't remember where Jawbone is...just vaguely remember some ranger's office or something.

This could give an extra hour of sleep to those who want it, but also a good place to meet for the ones who want breakfast or have never been to Last Chance.

          Sound like a plan?

Ok, one person who knows where Jawbone is will need to meet at Primo's

Don't rely on me to know where I am going...it's a vague memory for me.

                Who's going to volunteer?

Can we get a final head count for this run??

Also, I can get to the general area but how do I find the meeting place?

I'm getting my MT/Rs Sipped so it will be interesting to see how it helps.

The map I provided is good to get you to Primo's, but after that I am a little sketchy. I could probably find the ranger's station at Jawbone.

if this is the case... I'll meet you guys at the ranger station at 10. it's not hard to find. just head out of mojave on the 14, the jawbone station is on the left side of the hwy about 15 to 20 miles up.
