I'll see you on Friday Josh. I'll be there in the afternoon before it get's dark so I can set up my tent. If I take the same road we use to get to Odessa Canyon, where abouts is the camp site exactly? I don't know where gatekeeper is. Does anyone have a map of the camp site?Last edited by MrBash; 12-08-08, 07:43 PM.

It's a catalyst heater. No open flame but there are fumes. No tent that I know of is airtight. In fact, mine has a gaping hole in the top covered in screen mesh. Besides... fumes will help you fall asleep"The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money."

just my :2: but I have tried these 'tent' heaters, and they don't do much, mainly because the tents are so open and don't insulate at all. heat rises, so it is all going out the top and drawing cold air in thru the tent. I think if you have the heavy canvas type tent without the open vent top it might do something for you.:gun: my rifle is not illegal, it's just undocumented... :gun:

I use my backpackers trick to stay warm. About an hour before you crawl in the sleeping bag for the night break two or three small hand warmer packs and toss 'em in. Whne you climb in you're nice and warm and they last all night. I usually wind up taking them out after a while. Target sells them in packs of 4 for $2.99 ea.[CENTER][COLOR=#ff0000]Resistance Off Road
