Odessa Canyon Sunset Run - Sunday, July 20

I really really really want to run Odessa Canyon at night. The requirements for this trail are 33" tires, front and rear tow hooks, a good driver and some offroad lights. We will also need to have a minimum of Three Vehicles attending (just incase).

When: July 20, Sunday Night
Where: Odessa Canyon Trail in Calico Mountains
Meeting Time: 7:00PM
Trail Rating: Difficult. Rocker guards are recommended.

Hey Bash! Wish that I could join you but I start too early the next day to try to squeeze this in.

You really should post this kind of a run on the Trail Rides & Events thread. You will get more responses most likely.

The map is zoomed in all the way to show the starting point. You have to zoom out to sho the entire area. I've tested it on a few coputers and it works fine.

I think the trail run is going to happen next Tuesday instead. Meeting time will be 8:00pm at trailhead. Hopefully we can get more Jeeps going because this would be one hell of a night run. I love wheeling at Odessa Canyon.

I see you live in MOnrovia. Here you go....

Take the ramp on the left onto I-210 E 10.0 mi
Continue on CA-210 E 18.9 mi
Take the exit onto I-15 N toward Barstow 8.7 mi
Take the exit onto I-15 N 66.3 mi
Take exit 191 for Ghost Town Rd 0.3 mi
Turn left at Daggett Yermo Rd/Ghost Town Rd
Continue to follow Ghost Town Rd 3.5 mi
11. Continue on Calico Rd

It seems a lot of you are working on Tuesday or the day after. How about I change the date to Sunday July 20th, 2008. It would still have to be a sunset run because Calico is just too damn hot during the day. Does Sunday night the 20th of July at 7:00pm work better for you guys?

Definitely works better for me. Have to work weekday nights and have serious trouble getting up early in the morning. Kinda like the night thing so installed rock lights last weekend
