    I am learning more and more...

    For leaf spring (sprung?) Jeeps the rear DS takes a beating 'cos of axle wrap. When you apply a high torque (read climbing on crazy rock hazards) load the pinion lifts to such an extent that the DS binds up. This is compounded by SOA setups.

    Apparently the TJ 4 link setup is highly resistant to axle wrap.

    The answer is to get a ladder bar, this will take a load of the DS.

        1350s, the yoke on the 44 was ordered with them
        the 1350s are bigger by about 1/8 inch
        when you go from a d35 to a d44 you will need a diferent length drive shaft anyway, it is the time to do it
