A small group wanted for a run from Cleghorn to Craft's Peak. It is an aggressive goal to travel the 40+ miles planned in one day, so a small group is preferred. Experience on the trails is recommended, but not required.
The trails planned are Cleghorn (Easy, with moderate features), 2N17X (Difficult), Pilot Rock Road (Easy, with moderate features), Willow Creek Jeep Trail (Moderate/Easy), 2N29Y, 2N28Y & 2N27Y (All Moderate), Dishpan Springs (Difficult), 3N16 (Easy) for a short distance to 2N54 (Moderate/Easy), and then up Craft's Peak (listed as Black Diamond by the USFS).
The goal is to catch the sunset from Craft's Peak and then catch some dinner in the mountain area. We may not make it, but it's worth a try. If you can't do the whole run, come along and split off when you need to.
We should meet on Saturday Morning at the Cleghorn Exit off of I-15 at 8:15am, and plan to start up the trail by 8:30am. Bring a lunch so that we can eat on the trail. Please post if interested.
