    Time and Place?

Is there an official time and place for the Sunday tour?

    In order of appearance:
    Rowher
    Miller
    Calico

I'm up for any of the rides. If a stock XJ can tolerate the ride, the Missus may be bringing her Grocery Getter along too!

I was thinking Rowher due to its proximity, and the fact that I haven't seen that area since the fires rolled through. I would be up for Miller, haven't been there in a while, but I think that Miller is a little tough in the beginning for a stock vehicle. Once up the first hill, its easy. I am open to either trail. I told Alexia to meet me at my house at 9:00 am on Sunday. I figure we could meet at the Rowher Flats staging area at 10:00, or be at the Flying J at 10:00-10:30. Opinions, and who's in?

Rowher seems to have gotten tougher every time i've been there, especially the first loooong hillclimb. Good news is that there is an unpaved road that meanders its way up the hill as well. Imagine the first hill at Miller, make it twice as difficult and ten times longer, and that should give you a good idea but, like I said, there's a bypass that goes all the way around it. We had a brand new stock Ford fullsize 4x4 truck make it up last time, remember? It got 2 flat tires, but it made it. edit: I meant the truck made it up the tough way, not the bypass

Guess I don't have to worry about that hill then.

I would love to be there, but I have racing at El Mirage. If by chance it gets rained out, I'll be there.
