i have always made it through. maybe it is just the spotter.. or the dented body pannels.

i wish i could make one of these runs, but i am still putting my jeep together.
          soon... real soon.
i do want to do a big bear run as well. it has been a long time.
You're signed up for HDR, right??????

We'll be motorhoming it this time, so if you need a kitchen or a bathroom, we've got it. I told Gary to bring his wife, same deal.
          Hope to see you soon.

Let's meet at Fawskin by 8:30.
Do you know of a resturant or coffee shop we can meet at?

Does the club have a regular CB channel they monitor?
Yep, got my CB and ARB hooked up tonight. And they work

How about we meet at Denny's?

Who all is going? Just me and Chris?

I dont think there is a "club" channel, so how about Ch 7?

I'd like to come. Is it Denny's in Big Bear? I'll have to figure out where that is.

Gold mountain is not difficult at all but is still a cool trail with some good views of the lake/ski areas (not sure if they still have snow) and it is a good way to get to John Bull.

                    See you there.

I guess Denny's must be in Big Bear. I was thinking the other side of the lake, Fawnskin? But that's cool, make it 8am then.

I'll leave the house at 6, that way I'll know how long it takes and what time I need to head down the hill.

Let me know on the Denny's location.

                        Ch7 is fine.

Denny's is in Big Bear. Was the only place that came to mind so through it out there. Don't know Big Bear that well so dont listen to me

I will probably be leaving around 6am myself.

Meeting Place and Time; MJR members coming:

Okay, Denny's it is, in Big Bear proper. Let's make it 8am, leave by 8:30, 8:40 for stragglers. Call us or CB us if you're close - we'll be on CB Ch 7.
                              My cell phone: 714-403-4929

We'll discuss our route at meeting time, either head out to Holcomb Valley and visit our Adopt-a-trail route, and then do John Bull, or GoldHill, or whatever - the group can decide. 3N08 is really pretty easy too, and dumps out at the road that leads to John Bull. Lots of routes up there!

BTW, I think WAYWEGOS is camping out this weekend and running and doing work on their trail: John Bull. Doesn't mean we can't run it if we want. I did it in an almost stock jeep last year, so it should be cake now.

                              Members that said they're coming:

If there are others, please post, I'll add them.

I'm leaving the house at 6, up to BB by 8. You guys are only 50 miles away; come'on up!! You can leave at 7 and make it!

Yeah, come join us. Will be a short day of fun. We'll be moving through a lot faster than with Greg. The easy trails will be a straight shot.
