impassable? or difficult?
i have always made it through. maybe it is just the spotter.. or the dented body pannels.
i wish i could make one of these runs, but i am still putting my jeep together.
soon... real soon.
i do want to do a big bear run as well. it has been a long time.
You're signed up for HDR, right??????
We'll be motorhoming it this time, so if you need a kitchen or a bathroom, we've got it. I told Gary to bring his wife, same deal.
Hope to see you soon.

I'd like to come. Is it Denny's in Big Bear? I'll have to figure out where that is.
Gold mountain is not difficult at all but is still a cool trail with some good views of the lake/ski areas (not sure if they still have snow) and it is a good way to get to John Bull.
Okay, Denny's it is, in Big Bear proper. Let's make it 8am, leave by 8:30, 8:40 for stragglers. Call us or CB us if you're close - we'll be on CB Ch 7.

We'll discuss our route at meeting time, either head out to Holcomb Valley and visit our Adopt-a-trail route, and then do John Bull, or GoldHill, or whatever - the group can decide. 3N08 is really pretty easy too, and dumps out at the road that leads to John Bull. Lots of routes up there!
BTW, I think WAYWEGOS is camping out this weekend and running and doing work on their trail: John Bull. Doesn't mean we can't run it if we want. I did it in an almost stock jeep last year, so it should be cake now.
