I'm still up for heading out there on the 26th, even if there's not that much snow. But if we're goign to try and go again in february with possibly more snow, I might wait until february instead of the 26th. Since it's like a 3 hour drive for me.

Looks like y'all are in for some snow this weekend. I'm going to try and join ya on the 20th if I get the Jeep running.

Its as much fun getting dirty as it is being dirty in a Jeep!

Should we set a time and place? And how would folks feel about adding Holcomb?

8a at the Valero? I think there is aValero right as you come into town. I'm hoping that would give everyone enough tine to drive up the hill in day light. If that is to early we cab move it to 9.

The Valero is now called BB gas n go...its on the corner of greenway and Big Bear Blvd. That time is works for me...

I'd be in for the 26th. The jeep should be ready by then (thanks Kurt) and it'll be that last weekend of my vacation

Not sure about BB gas station. There used to be a tiny Valero on East end of town. How bout meeting at the AM PM, larger lot, rest rooms, coffee. Your going up Gold Mountain? Time you plan to be at trail head?

I'm still in. We'll be at the Gold Mtn trailhead at 10a assuming we can find our way there. I've forgotten how to get to most of the trails in that area. Looks like I'll have a full Jeep with my sister, wife, and a friend from Irvine up to ride along. I may toss the keys over to one of them for some of the driving as well. Gold Mtn is an easier trail if I recall properly. Is this accurate?

Kevin, and whomever else, we'll plan to stop by that AMPM that morning around 9:15 or 9:30 to top off the tanks and grab a few gallons of coffee. Looking forward to a good day of wheeling!

TipsE-Z and whoever else is unsure of where trail head is Ill go ahead and meet you all at AMPM around 9:15 to 9:30, Im sure my wife would love a foo foo coffee to warm her up too.. Then we can head over and meet up with the rest of group at Gold Mtn. Yer right Gold Mtn is one of the easier trails I think but fun, could be interesting in a few spots depending on how much snow melts by then pretty warm up here last two days.
