It's right off 3n16 in the midst off the Willow fire area right? I can't remember the number but maybe 3n17 or 20. We had a map and I am confident it was White mountain, but I could be wrong, it has happened in the past. I was sure there were WMD's

BTW some "Higlet" definitions are below

goesupta - trail/road that goes up to desired area
goesdownta - trail/road that goes down to desired area
goesinta - trail that goes into a desired area
goesouta - trail that goes out of an undesired area
goesoverta - trail that goes over to a desired area

there is nothing too fantastic about it. but there is a great view of the area, AND a can containing sigmatures of people that dates back to the 70's. you have to know where to look for the can, or you will never find it. i always found that very cool, and that has brought me back to white mountain on a few occasions.

as far as the trail goes.... not much to it. a few hill climbs. thats about it.

Hey Nailer, I am not sure he will respnd, Maybe he went up already, But I am going up Sat Morning and this is what He told me.

                ---
Just meet at Crab Flats Campground Site # 1 whenever you get there, let's try to make it by 9am or so, let me know if this is a problem soon. I will be out of touch starting Friday Morning as we are going up then to get set up and let the boys run around a bit.

Here's the "Official" Camp Web page http://www.reserveusa.com/jsp/commo...b/newindex.html

FWIW IMO Larga is easy, w/ 2 little rock gardens. Easier than Holcomb for sure, but different so it's a nice change. Whhooops goodtimes already posted that exact sentence.

I will call the Ranger Station tomorrow about fire restrictions and such.
                ---

Sorry for all the cut and paste.......
                See ya there

Alright I'm on the way out

Crab Flats campground site #1 @ 9am or so - no runtime Nazi's here.

If the link isnt working here's the directions - Take Freeway to 330 North. Go through Running Springs and Arrowbear, CA, to Green Valley Road. Turn left, go approximately 4 miles to Crab Flats Campground sign at Forestry dirt road. Turn left and go 4-1/2 miles to the campground.

Channel 4 is good for me.

Let's run Holcomb from 3n16 so when we are doing Lower Larga we are doing a goesupta 3n16. How's that sound?

818/335-9944 my cell works intermitantly at the camp site
