[COLOR="Blue"]One of them goes in a couple hundred feet or so. I've been in them before they blocked them off. A couple of them only go in a very short distance.
As far as the history I believe they were silver mines. Most of the mines in the whitish dirt were silver mines. The books say the south end and some of the surrounding mines in the valley at the Rose mine were silver mines.
If you want to check out some JV mines I found that 35 canyon I was looking for. It goes up a canyon and connects to a shelf road that goes to 2 really nice mines.[/COLOR]
Rose Mine area? Never stopped and looked at those. I will next time. I have wanted to explore more and check out some of the "other" trails in that area.

Yes They are.
