i dont have gps, could you give me some written directions or a map.

Well, it isn't easy to find, but here goes my attempt (others feel free to chime in with better instructions):

Go north on Camp Rock Road from Hwy 247. Turn right on either Comet or Astral Ave. Keep going until you start a gradual climb uphill towards the rocky buttes. Once you start to pass the first hills to the south, bear south-east between the rocky hills on either side. When you find yourself mostly surrounded by rougher terrain than you came in on, start looking for the trail head on the eastern side of the trail.

BLM signs have been posted for the trail, so keep an eye out for them.
