My favorite is smugmug, but pbase.com is good too. Now that flickr allows wider image sizes, it's good, but only until Google decides it's usage policy stays fair. I have trouble trusting a service that has no income stream. It can't last forever. SmugMug has a free account, but the majority if it's users have a paid membership and sustain it. Even works really well in my iPhone.

        Chuck,

I liked both Parts 1 & 2 with your choice of soundtracks.

Thanks for taking the time to edit these, it shows that you took your time and worked hard at it.

        Great job!

What did you use to mount the camera in the Jeep?

I just found their website at http://www.ram-mount.com/ and it looks like they make mounts for all sorts of stuff!

            Thanks.

              Another Video!

I know it is sort of late to throw this in, but I realized that I had more video footage than I thought from the Rubicon trip so I made a You Tube video. Except that after waiting for it upload, I had the same thing happen to me as Chuck did. You Tube muted my soundtrack!

Screw 'em! I uploaded the vid with both of the ones that Chuck found. See what you think:

              Video on Vimeo

              Video on Viddler

I think the Vimeo service was much clearer and less pixelated. Their compression formula must be pretty good.

Fun Fact: Seaphan (sp?) told us that for every minute in real time, 13 hours of video are uploaded to YoutTube. That's simply amazing!

Great video Mike. I think Vimeo is much better. It's my choice from now on. When are we going to Fordyce?

Thankfully that did not happen on this trip.

Vimeo was much faster to upload too. I'm leaning toward it as well.

As for Fordyce, it is on the short list of to-do's now. But you know me, I gotta do my homework first. The level of Fordyce Creek changes from the flow from the dam. I'll have to see when the best time to go is going to be.

Nice vids Sir Green! I found that they post the trail closure prior to opening the flood gates at Fordyce.

I just watched it on Vimeo, since people were liking that one better.

                                Cool!

That has got to be one of the best 4x4 trails on the planet. I had heard of the Rubicon before of course but didn't realise just how fantastic it is. Got to add that to my to do list one day! Fantastic video Mike.
