Got to love a 4:1 however it makes it easier to break stuff lol.
Moral of the story stuff happens, but it can be fixed just takes some time and spoils some of the fun

THink so??? I was thinking that with my 4cyl and 4:1 ---I was actually being easier on my driveline....

I am excited for Saturday! Other than a cooler of food & drinks, the Jeep is ready to go!

it gives it about 1/3 more torque in low range than the stock transfer case.

I think it might rain this weekend. Might make it interesting.

Forgive my lame sounding response---I know that about the gearing, that is why I went as tall as I could when I upgraded. (4.88 in the diff's and 4:1 in the case)
I typed before I thought.....I have found that with the 4:1 gearing I don't have to "get on the gas" in order to climb over things. Hence my statement...
