you'll be ok, nothing we'll happen to her jeep, I promise :bart::devil::bart::devil::bart::devil::devil:

A vehicle on 35s is pretty much the minimum tire size for Sledge and locked both ends, with low gears. You have to expect some body damage. A good attitude is required. There are a couple of places that have gotten more "interesting" over the last year.

I would also recommend keeping some distance between vehicles in some of the tighter sections, so that better equipped rigs can pass. People travel the trails in both directions.

Have fun. Looks like it will be a nice weekend.

I saw some buggies come down when we were there and it was awesome. I see why people like this place. A great area to go to. I wanna go on some other trails as well.

No. I belong to D37 and my club, 4 Aces, is putting on a National Hare and Hound the following weekend out at Spangler Hills near Ridgecrest. This weekend we are putting up the final ribbon and such.

I am the guy in the hat in Tonmb's last picture above.

Well, I'm sorry to say that I will not be attending this event. The Wife has a few honey-Dos for me to accomplish this weekend.

                    Sorry.

There should be plenty of neat rigs out there every weekend through King of the Hammers on the 27th of Feb. My group of buddies will be out there. They are the two yellow XJ buggies you will see camped on the lake bed (with a white one not in the race). You will want to make sure to spend some time at Back Door watching people try different lines for the Last Chance Qualifier and the race.

One of the things to look at when looking at all the rigs for the race this year is suspension. That technology is really improving.
