Calico Clean Up 2009 - Cancelled due to Lack of Trash

Sorry to OT This thread, but how about the yearly, Magazine sponsored, JV Clean Up they usually do early in the year? Anyone heard about That one yet?

Also curious about the Calico one too, Need to add It/both to our club calendar before we schedule somthing over top of them.

The JV one is done by the Tin Benders. I know there were issues last year because they did not pull a permit so not sure what is gonna happen this year.

Im working with Mark, the guy who organizes the Calico Cleanup. He is still in the process of determining a date. It will be moved from the Presidents Day weekend because it conflicts with a Calico Event (I think its the Civil War Reinactment.)

It will probably be in March or April. If he doesnt post it up, I will.

I had no idea you needed a permit to pick up trash. Sounds crazy to me.
