We get a roll call. woohoo. It is looking like a good sized crowd coming. I am gonna have to get organized and plan some activities like we usuall do.

You know I woke up yesterday and on my way to work I was trying to figure out how I'm going to take this weekend off (12/13/08). At 11:30 I was called into the General Managers opffice and he informed me that he must eliminate my position because he can't afford to pay me anymore. He offered me another job which consisted of commission only - no salary. I told him let me think about it.

I took my team out to Sushi for lunch and had a large hot sake to myself. I went back to the general Managers office and told him...."I Think I'm Out". Picked u my check, grabbed a few of my belongings, hopped on the bike and blasted through the parking lot with my loud pipes. I QUIT.

So congratulations to me.

Now that I've bored you with my personal issues....I'll be joining you on this little camping trip. Jeeps, Guns, grills, meat and chicken.....I think we'll have fun! I need moreinfo...what's the meeting time and location and where are we going to camp?

Bash, sorry to hear it, preparing myself for the hammer to drop in January, or thats the word. Been working everything I can get, so that is why I haven't been around much. Went back to Calico with my son-in-law and we both limited out, Kevin.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your Job, still free time for awhile is not a bad thing. Enjoy the extra wheeling time, seems that the car sales business is not the best career path for the foreseable future.

BTW - what kind of bike do you ride? I've got a FX-DWG, but it's been a bit neglected since I bought the Jeep.

I got a 2004 Honda Shadow Aero 750. Let's ride. These two pics are from Thanksgiving morning. It was raining in So Cal but we still went riding. at noon the sun started to shine but the air in Wrightwood was freezing.
