I got the doors from Moab 4x4 Outpost in Utah

I am sorry to to say that after working on my Jeep all of yesterday it seems like the sun did me in.
I became quitte ill last night and it seems like its a good idea to stay out of the sun for a couple of days. I am still quitte nauseous. I hope better luck next time, on the more positive side the Terra low is
in and working. Sure slows the jeep down in low range, will make playing in the rocks a lot easier.
You all have a blast and be save

          Art,

Sounds like you just need some extra help, a nice canopy, and plenty of liquid refreshments!

Wow, what a run! 13 rigs on the trail, and great weather. Pumpkin Eater must have really felt the flash floods, because that trail was crazy difficult last night!

Thanx to everyone for coming out and taking on the trail, I had a great time trying to get everyone through.
:gun: my rifle is not illegal, it's just undocumented... :gun:

Question then becomes, Did you get everyone through?

Thanks 2 Jesse and his Daughter

                WOW!is right Jesse...

Trying to get through that trail was a blast. I had the least built Jeep out there (not counting the XJ) and I would go for it again.
My wife also enjoyed herself. And here's the best part...
On the way home she told me to make a list of what the Jeep needs and we can set up an account just for that.
                Wooo Hooo!!!
She says if I'm gonna take on those kinds of trails I should be equipped for it.
                Sometimes she is very wise.
We met some more great folks out there too.

Anyway, Thanks a lot Jesse for a great time. I got home at 4:00 am, set my alarm for 6:00 am to go on my morning run with VV4W's....
                No way!
                Went back to sleep :dunno:

And Rat Patrol, we did not finish the trail. We had flat tires, a broken drive shaft that was swapped out on the trail, and a broken hub rendering the vehicle "3 wheel drive".
It got so late we decided to turn and go back on an easier trail we found.

                      Pumkin Eater ate my oilpan

Man... I climbed under my Jeep to asses any damage and just about messed my pants when I saw my oil pan.
It is beat to hell. I am so lucky it didn't get puntured. I can't even change my oil if I wanted to.

I have a new first item on my list...
                      1. Oil Pan
                      2. Oil pan skid plate

She's gonna have to stay off the trails till I get that changed out.

                      GOOD TIMES!!

Well the canopy and more water would have helped. Just got carried away and worked for about 10 hours straight. But its done, now I can go have some more fun with it

well Rat, we didn't get to finish Pumpkin Eater. It was just destroyed. the trail looked like someone was blasting up there, and in the dark it just wasn't going to be pretty. I have run those trails so many times, and I had never seen it tore up like that. it had to be from the flash floods we had a few weeks back. I officially threw in the towel just after midnight but I may have announced it on my PA instead of the CB... it took another hour and a half to get everyone off the trail and onto the bypass... and then the long winding road back to pavement. I don't think we got onto pavement until after 3am.

It was awesome! I had such a good time! it has been so long since a trail gave me a challenge like that and kicked my butt. And the best part was all the people on the trail were in good spirits and having a good time, despite the slow go of it and the trail being rough. We had an XJ on the trail that took some hits in the rocker and doors, but he was into it! it was so cool- Thanx everyone!
