do you also use the L lenses, and how would you compare the build quality, and feel of the non L 10-22 lens to the L lenses.
I have both the 16-35mm F2.8 L MkII and the 10-22mm. The build quality of the L is much heftier, all metal construction, but the 10-22 has a nice quality feel to it also. At half the cost, it is considerably more than half the lens. I haven't had any dust issues in my 10-22mm, which says a lot to me, considering my typical use.

I will say that having the 16-35mm on my camera almost all the time, I dont use my 10-22 as much, but its still SOOOO much wider than the 16-35 that it is always within reach in my camera bag.

I've never shot a similar scene with each lens for comparison. Here is the closest that I can think of:

    10-22 at 10mm, F3.5

    16-35, at 19mm, F22

Here is another 16mm shot with the 16-35mm lens (F13, ISO 400 - it was really dark and overcast due to nearby fires)
