This was taken with a 70mm-300mm lens and an extension tube. I was about 3 ft away so you can see that shooting insects and such can be done without getting so close that you scare them away.

Cool program. Gives you a lot of info. This is the info from the pic I posted earlier. I think it shows less info as I'm using Olympus verses Canon but still pretty nice.

How cool is that!? So, pictures I take I can get this info on. What about if I want to determine what settings someone else used? I have to ask huh? No biggie. I'll pass this on to Barb. Thanks again guys!

Nick,
Digital cameras save the image information. If you want to get this info for a photo someone else shot, it may be available on the original site where it is posted, but more than likely you have to contact that person. A good source of photo formatting info are the online photography sites, where people post for photo contests and such. Most contests ask for image info, so you can look at the pics that you like and pull up the info to see how it's shot.

Kurt, Is this saying that your are at the highest setting for these features? If so do you usually shoot you shots that high? Just curious.
I'm experimenting. I shoot at all levels, review the results, then save the settings that work best. Trial and error, like my driving... and my women..............
