anything attached to the axle is custom made. the only purchased bracketry was the poly performance mounts that were cut into the frame. those were great to work with.

What's the usual going rate to buy everything needed to convert to coilovers? Just a ballpark, thanks. No I'm not thinking about doing them anywhere soon, just curious for much later down the road.

                Jerry,

                It's somewhere around $429,738,572,102.99, but that's nothing for Erik...I hear he's loaded.

                  you are close
you are waaay off on the "loaded" thing though. i may have had a couple of bucks once, but the addition on the house, a bunch of kids, and a jeep or two ate right through all of that

                    Ballpark figure here.

Depending on your relationship with who you are buying your parts from.....

                    Coilovers $1000.00
                    Gas Tank $799.00
                    4 Link Kit $1199.00
                    Rear Shock Mount Kit $299.00
                    Driveshaft $300.00?

If needed to run rear flares add,
                    Corners $299.00
                    Rockers $259.00

again all of this depends on how/where you buy your parts.

Wow holy crap is right! Thanks everyone, that coilover conversion is more $$$ than I expected. I'll have to pass on that for now and just concentrate on getting the auto tranny conversion done. And Erik I'm with you, I used to have a little $$$ but most of it got spent on who knows what.

                            wow..
I just stretched the front of my TJ 11" and it cost me a grand total of $112
the DOM for the new front drveshaft was $0.75 a pound and the rest of the steel got to the $112. I also used up a chop saw blade, several cutting wheels, some ocy/accet in the torch, and weld gas/wire for probably another $100.
sure was a lot of work though.
It's not what you have. it's what you do with what you have.
