ok so i took off the front d.s. and drove it. problem didnt seem to be there. no noise no vibration. the clamp for the c.v. boot had come off and the c.v had no grease. i cleaned it out and packed new grease in it and got the boot on there securely. and when i drove the car with the d.s back in the car started doing it again. could it be the shaft or is there something in the t case that could be bad? the vibration come and goes when it wants but the noise is still there.

I take note of things like that so I don't make the same mistake some day!
