  • New Bumoer build Part II

A few weeks ago Scott AKA Dr. Dirty had build me a GENRIGHT Style front bumper from my existing Smittybilt $99 dollar bumper and I think he did a heck of a job. Thanks!

The second part of this bumper build was to shorten the bumper by 4 total inches.

Re-weld the ends onto the bumper.

Then Weld the winch plate to the bumper.

Here are a few pics thanks to Dirty and Finishline West.

After the first build notice the bumper extends into the tires:

Next we cut 2 inches on each side:

Then after welding the ends back on Scott welded up the rest of the bumper:

    A little Duplicolor:

    And the finish product:

Thanks again buddy you worked hard this winter break!

Thanks Kurt! The best part is I didnt even have to nag him to build me one. He knew I wanted one and on his vacation he came through for his buddy while I was working like a dog at the shop.

Very nice! I've been thinking on buying a hoop/ mini-stinger kit similar to that.

I bought a very similar bumper to that on eBay for about $100 shipped some time ago that I've fixed up. Still no protection for my winch other than a stout winch plate.

        I want a bandsaw....
