  • Here we go again.

Gonna be off the trail for while (with the Rat anyway) cuz I decided to get off my ass and get this build started. Hope to get it all done through the holiday season to be ready for Moab in March.
    Heres the build:

New triangulated 4 front and rear.
    Fox Coil overs
    Raise engine/tranny 2.5 inches
    flat belly-up
New front and rear bumpers and winch mounts
    inboard fuel cell
    Hard line ARB system
    Roll cage
Fix all the body damage (so I can start over)
    Paint
MAYBEEEE a little stretch (for Andrew) but gotta keep it street legal

Got the new garage wired for 230 single
    New mig welder
    New plasma cutter
    New 10"x48 disc/belt sander
    cut off saw
    New air compressor
    lots of fabricating goodies
stock pile of 3/16 and 1/4 inch plate, round DOM, structural square tube, 1/2 T6 aircraft aluminum plate. All scrap. CHEAP!
four fire extinguishers (I think that will be enough)

I'll start posting pics when I have a before pic of the Jeep to start with.
Esitmated time to complete: knowing me, 2 years. Hopefully by end of Feb.

    Wish me luck!

Kurt....I will drop my Jeep off tomorrow. Can you have her finished in 12 weeks?

Sounds like an excellent project....can't wait to see it when it is finished.

Geeze Rat I can't even get my Jeep to where you are starting from. In our socialist country (now) You need to downgrade your Jeep to my level so we are equal.

Seriously, I'd like to spend a Saturday at your place getting in your way, I mean learning from the master.

Can't wait to see how this turns out! It's nice to see a few hardcore builds going on. Makes me jealous.
