well raising the gas tank was easy. But stretching the suspension is something else. Now I have all the room. But claytons look affordable unless I find a craigslist deal or something.

Just built the main box for the fuel cell. I used 1 1/2" square tube. The box is level with the lip of the body. I will build a platform for the fuel cell out of 1 square tube. I may put a second fuel cell side by side to get more fuel for the long trips.
The other side will be for storage of the axle shafts and tools. I am also adding smaller boxes on the wheel wells. I will put a cover for the entire box.

That looks like a RCI fuel cell with the mounting tabs at the bottom. Cut the tabs off and use straps to mount the cell to the Jeep. Over time the tabs will crack, causing a leak.
