    Thanks a bunch,

I'll have'em drop them off at a GoodWill location. I know they are getting some good real food for the firefighters tonight that are being camped at Castaic Lake.

rat, let me know if you need someone to ride along and help out with the pickups this weekend, i'm really looking for something to do to help in addition to making some kind of monetary or material goods donation.

          Mike,
Will do. Thanks. So far I haven't had much response here, but plenty of response from other areas. I made a couple of runs last night, filled the pick up with goodies.

          Thanks again,
          Kurt

At this point most of the centers are saying they have way too much in the way of material goods. So I'm not picking up stuff to take to the evacuation centers anymore. You can, however donate material goods to a local Goodwill store. Just tell them it is for the victims of the fires. They valuate the donation then issue a voucher that victims can get for the asking at any Red Cross aid station or office. If you want the vouchers to go to a specific group, say the victims of the Grass Valley fire, make sure to specify that and by law the donation has to be distributed to them.

              Thanks to all who donated.
