Thanks for the trail tips! The book we have says Black Bear pass is the "scary one" and people fall off the cliff every year. Exaggerated?

Ryan, no prob! We're going July or August, but not when you'll be there We'll have to meet ya in Big Bear this summer - it'd be closer anyway

Sarah, it's no exageration. Las year when we were there a family of 4 went off Imogene. I hear they pulled up on the inside of the trail to let a oncoming vehicle by. But they went up too steep and rolled over across the trail and down. Black Bear has some tight switchbacks that may require 3 point turns, just don't mess up!
