  • Jeeper Temporarily in SoCal for last 7 years.

Well I always said the SoCal thing was temporary, but I bought a house so now I am not so sure.

At any rate I have a 98 TJ with some mods, not an extreme rig by any means that I like to wheel. I go out 8-10 times a year and just have fun. The GF has allegedly taken over ownership of the TJ and I want to find a group that will let her learn to drive it. She loved Holcomb until I proved I was a dumba$$ and left us stranded at the firestation.

At any rate, my name is Frank and you can call me the FNG.

Welcome Frank and GF Im sure she has a name as well.

This is the perfect place to hand the keys to her...we have quite a few lady drivers in our group.

Looking forward to wheeling with you!

She has a name, Kristen or KT. She likes the Jeep, but is not ready to wheel it everywhere. She drove it through the springs last year, but next year she wants to drive the whole trail. I am wanting her to get experience before then.

I wish I lived in Cali, but eh.........it'd put too much of a dent in my pocketbook just to live ther. Gas is a PITA here in AL, I'd hate for it to go any higher >.<

                      Frank and KT,
Welcome to MJR. Just watch out for some of the lady drivers here: They're crazy man! I seen 'em flop, hop and drop.
Honestly, lots of talent on this site. KT can learn alot.

                      Welcome to SoCal too...

Sounds like me. I thought I was going the right way (back to the trailer) We met once a while back in JV on a run with Blaine. Every time I see you, there are valve cores being shot deep into rims.

Sarah, Thanks for the compliment on the launch. Unfortunately for me (or not) I was not there when it happened. I loaned the Jeep to a friend for some development, and he e-mailed that photo to me one day.

btw Kristen says hello and she is anxious to drive.
