I'm not sure if it's lifted or not but, It runs and looks pretty good, I think she only want's 2K for it! Hit me up if your interested!

No,... don't do it. Get a TJ (97 to 2006) you will be much happier,... and welcome to MJR

go with a YJ!! if your serious about this then you dont even have to look into it. go square!! welcome from canada. good luck picking your jeep.

and by the way, it doesnt matter if you get anywhere between a cj, honcho, or a KJ, you will be hooked!! jeeps kick a$s!!

          Wow

Thanks for all the great input, I appreciate it. Still leaning towards the 93-95 YJ. Seeing a lot of 97 TJs for sale, is there issues with them or is it just coincidence?

I guess I'll not bring up how cool CJ's are, the fact that they are easy to work on (except the vacuum hoses & funky carbs). parts are plentiful & realitivly cheap, the historical signifigance, WWII retro metal dash and guages and most importantly, they have Round headlights like Jeeps are supposed to have. o||||o

So I won't bring it up!

One more thing: Whatever year you choose DO NOT BUY A 4 CYL. You will be so unhappy.

Have a looksie....... Prices on YJ's & TJ's are falling faster than Congress' approval ratings!

This one's got paperwork issues that can be overcome with a sworn statement from the seller. Paperwork is obtainable at the DMV for such a request....

And it already has a lift, tires and lights on it for only 2K! I believe it's a 1992 model with the family roll bar and a 4.0L engine in it. Nice size BFG tires almost cost this much by themselves.... Do a clutch, fix a few minor problems and spend a few bux on registration taxes (aka: FEES), bob's your uncle! Just one of many I have seen for 2K & under. Missed a 94 4.0L YJ for only $1800 the other day.....

                FYI

Jesse, The point wasn't the mods, but just to have fun...

To the OP, good luck with whatever you choose, as somebody else stated, YJ, TJ, XJ, CJ, you'll be hooked and enjoy whatever you pick. Just go for the 6 cyl if you ever plan on driving it on the freeway or up a hill when not in 4 low. I've heard too many people say this one to discount that advice.
