OK, I;ll post the first pics. I don't have any of the "one wheel hop", but seen it... it was coooool!
THe run went well, had a good turn out. One break early on, no biggie. ANyway. I'll let the photos do the talking.

THe start of day brought out a good size group from MJR.

Got my camera out to late. The yellow rubi looked like it had both rear wheels in the air. Still a good shot.

Your not likely to damage those wheels. You have to have them on the GROUND for that. :wink:

Of course, my alloy wheels are still in pretty good shape for the same reason. :zip:

Cleghorn is the most fun as long as you detour off the fireroad at every possible moment. Good place to take semi stockers as there's plenty of bypasses. Looks like you guys had fun. Last time there, I had my idler die right after pucker, so after a run into town we did the last part of it in the dark.

The side trails are the ONLY way to go. If the proposed changes go through, the first side trail climb and the first V-notch climb are slated to be closed by October 2007. Hopefully, we sent in enough comments to change the USFS's mind. Regardless, the rest of the trail is still a good time. It is much harder than most folks expect.

What would everyone rate it?
Easy, Moderate, Difficult?

I'd say moderate, as you can ALWAYS take a bypass. Why they have to keep closing things irritates me. I'm guessing the first climb is the one by the power tower?

Yeah, doing it at night was lots of fun, we were out there in like November or December with short days. My idler went south, so we had to drive off the trail, air up, go into town get a new idler, come back and change it on the trail. Note to self, spare idler is $13 at pep boys with good bearings.

So we completed the trail after dark and only crossed the fire road. Night runs can be so much fun.
