Holcomb Creek Trail - great idea!
Running it on May 20th - BAD IDEA!! The Big Bear Lake Jeep Jamboree is that weekend.
If you don't like the way I drive, stay out of the bushes!

                  Russ, great new avatar

now you just need to alternate between this avatar and the one of the rock damage from the boulder above your rear tire...

I would be up for that also, as I will be up there at my Cabin that weekend.

Just keep in mind that weekend is the Big Bear Jeep Jamboree, so there will be about 400 jeeps on the trails that weekend.

                    Might get a big crowded

So are people willing to go up there and deal with possible mobs or are there ideas for another location?

not sure i want to drive 2 hours to deal with the possibility of no wheeling due to overcrowded trails...anyone up for a run there this saturday instead?

Possibly someone that knows the trails (forgot to mention I'm not a trail boss)...

Holcomb Creek May 20 run CANCELED

                              Sorry for the late reply....

We are going to cancel this run because of the schedule conflict with a larger organized run. Tammy does want to take the Jeep out and get more practice this summer but doesn't want the stress of 100+ jeeps waiting for her to negotiate an obstacle.

Saturday the 27th doesn't work for us, as we have family in from out of town, soccer sign ups, and then UFC on PPV that evening. Maybe the 3rd of June?

I can probably do that weekend if you wouldn't mind me tagging along in the lineup. Let me know when and where to meet.
