Here's a picture of the corner of the utility building in the Fawnskin triangle (I spent a long time there waiting for the towing service):

        Don't eat the yellow snow

I had a blast! Around my 3rd time wheeling in snow but that was the deepest I've ever been in. You guys wrapped it up pretty good and took most of the shots I was going to post but I'll still put in my 2 pennies. It was a pleasure meeting some new faces and wheeling with you. Traffic was the only bummer but the trip was totally worth it. John Bull and Gold Mountain would'nt let us in but it was fun trying. It was fun just trying to find the trails.

I like this angle better Russ.

            Russ

            Nice write up.
Sorry to hear about your Jeep though.
Just glad you are all right. Jeep body parts can be replaced.
Human body parts can not, at least not yet.

Snow is fun for a little while.
We may see some this coming weekend again, out at Clear Creek for the Molina run there.

Plan to have plenty of propane for the campers heater.

We shot up there ourselves, should have brought some ice skates. Sorry we missed you guys, but the thought of driving the highways didn't sound to fun. We went up 3N14 from apple valley. Had a blast, but it took 3 1/2 hours to get home from big pine flat due to all of the street rigs still "trying" to go up at 3 p.m. Maybe we can hook up another time.
