Hola Sarah, we'll be in BB this weekend and we'll keep an eye out for you all. We will be camping somewhere north of Fawnskin, hope to find a good spot.
Hey, is this going to be an organized thing?
I've been dying to go out somewhere and this would be a perfect opportunity to do it. Is there a particular place people meet? Time? Or is it just a sort of free-for-all...
Baja!! Good to hear from ya. We don't have a campsite yet either.
So far, it's totally disorganized ... do you know where the Fawnskin Fire Station is located? I'll talk to the others and pick a time to meet there on Saturday.
Campsite? Do they actually require them or can you just pull up a nice, cozy piece of dirt?
You sure can, but you can't have a fire there, nor can you reserve it. The forest is usually pretty packed on holiday weekends, so hopefully we'll be able to find a cozy piece big enough.
It would be my first time to Big Bear, so I have no idea where the various campgrounds would be. Are there directions anywhere? Or would we just be looking for a few congregating Jeeps...
