SSWWWWEEET Trail Times!
Hey I just wanted to fully agree with everyone, this was a great-- No wait! Make that an OUTSTANDING GROUP RUN! I enjoyed meeting everyone several times as we found our way around the Calico Hills. Some of us even ended out at the dry lake bed to the East on Sunday before we went back to base camp. The odometer ended up reading nearly 500 miles total this weekend including the wheeling fun! Project Phoenix went everywhere I pointed the wheels without even a single hitch. Not bad for having just been ground-up rebuilt 2 weeks before. Thanks NAVY-JEEPSTER's (Todd & Teresa) for sharing supper & brew on Friday night, it was great! It was also nice to be early, the 3rd Jeep on the scene Friday afternoon.... Thanks to ALL who stopped by our camp fire (Me-Rick, Sherrie & Mike's) Saturday night and introduced yourselves to us. This made the group much closer knit than most and really helped to "connect-the-dots" on who is who. I am definitely considering HDR 2005 on Memorial Day and would hope to see many MJR members there.
Also looking forward to the RUBICON & DUSY/ERSHIM this summer!
